Senior Account Officer

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Sundhara,Kathmandu

𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆:Negotiable, based on experience and competency

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.

  • Review ledgers, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and banking transactions.

  • Ensure timely and accurate VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.

  • Monitor tax and accounting compliance in accordance with applicable Nepalese regulations.

  • Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, cash-flow reports, and management reports.

  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and internal departments.

  • Support budgeting, cost control, project accounting, and financial     Analysis.

  • Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.

  • Guide junior accounting team members and ensure proper accounting controls.

Requirements:

✔ bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Management, or related discipline

✔ Minimum 𝟱+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀’ 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 for Senior Account Officer

✔ Strong knowledge of 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

✔ Good understanding of 𝗩𝗔𝗧, 𝗧𝗗𝗦, Income Tax, and accounting practices

✔ Hands-on experience with accounting software is required

✔ Odoo Accounting knowledge will be an added advantage

✔ Good command of MS Excel and financial reporting

✔ Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

✔ Good communication and coordination skills

✔ Experience in the construction/infrastructure sector will be an advantage
